Matilda

Introducing Matilda Wormwood, daughter of a successful crook!

Even with her parent’s criminal background, Matilda is sweet, innocent, well liked, and smart. And by smart, I mean Einstein kind of smart. Like really really smart. After all, what six-year old do you know who knows all of the multiplication tables, and can multiply 5 digits in her head, get the right answer less than 5 minutes after you ask her?

And all though her parents do not love her, and though she has an evil head mistress ruling her school, Matilda is quite happy. You see, she loves to read. Not only that, she has friends and a lovely teacher, Ms. Honey, who lets her work ahead of her grade level.

But now, back to her father. Wormwood sells cars. I know you’re wondering how does that make him a crook? Because the cars are stolen! The father hires people to bring stolen, old, etc, cars to him, where he does a few ‘touchup’ jobs, and then sells it for at least triple what he paid!

Then one of his buddies tells him that the police are onto him!

What will happen next?

Will Wormwood be caught?

Will the ‘Trunchbull’ get what’s coming to her?

And poor Ms. Honey, all alone in the world…. But not for long!

And little Matilda, with no one to love her and take care of her.
